I encourage everyone to vote for Glen Yung in the Vancouver City Council race. Glen is the only candidate who’s spent the last two years making time to read every city council document, research every issue, and meet with all affected parties. He’s balanced, thorough, and a city subject-matter expert, and that’s why I encourage everyone to vote for Glen Yung to be Vancouver’s next city councilor.

I have received word that Glen Yung is running for a seat on the Vancouver City Council.

I have known Glen for almost 20 years, and have worked with him on many construction projects in and around Vancouver.  I have found him to be very professional in his dealings both with his clients and those who work for him.  In all these years I have never heard a negative word said about Glen.

Even though I no longer reside in Vancouver, I do keep up on what is going on there, as I have a number of family and friends who live there.  It was nice to see Glen involved in the Hough neighborhood, where he and his family live, and all of the volunteer work he has been involved in with cleaning up the area for the safety and wellbeing of those who live in his neighborhood.

I am so glad to see Glen step up to the plate and run for a position on the Vancouver City Council.  I do believe he would make a wonderful addition to the Council.

As we all know there are many challenges in the times we are living in.  New ideas that support the people who reside in Vancouver and needed on the City Council.  Glen, being the honest and caring young man I know he is, will do what is right in supporting those who pay taxes.

This is why I would support and recommend Glen Yung for a position on the Vancouver City Council.

My husband, Max, and I met Glen and Kim Yung in the spring of 2006 . We were struggling to demolish an old fence.  The debris box was scheduled for pick up and  the job was far from done.  Kim and Glen were working across the street and seeing our frantic pace of work came over and introduced themselves. They jumped into action helping us to finish the job on time. This was the start of our friendship and it has grown stronger over the years.

I have seen consistently this trait  of concern for others in Glen and his family.  When he sees  a problem  or a situation that  needs to change Glen gets to work trying to solve it.  This has been demonstrated with the work he has done in the  neighborhood association and on city council committees.

Glen’s participation has demonstrated his high standards and good judgement.  You have only to study the past actions of Glen to know what his agenda is for the  city council will be in the future.

If you are still confused or unsure  what to expect from  Glen just ask him.  Please  don’t jump to conclusions without a conversation with Glen or his campaign headquarters.
